The Mountain deals with anti-immigrant sentiment in Canada from the lens of two eight-year-olds on a playground—one a quiet Canadian boy, the other a spirited Arab girl. Audiences will experience how their playful childhood banter and imagination transforms not only their friendship but also their worldviews. Through these beautiful and unique characters, the play explores the universality of childhood experience and the needs we have for home, friendship, and trust.
